In my PhD work, I focus on the concept of silence and the way it problematizes the notion of language and representation – literature’s very means of meaning making. The finalised topic of my research is “Saying the Unsayable – Aesthetics of Silence and Ethical Intervention of History in Selected North American Narratives”.
